How to go to national gallery by mrt
City Hall: Exit from Exit B and take a pleasant 7-minute walk via the Art Connector from City Hall MRT station to reach the Gallery.
Clarke Quay: Exit from Exit E and enjoy a relaxed 10-minute walk along the Singapore River to reach the Gallery.
Raffles Place: Exit from Exit B and take a scenic 10-minute walk through the business district to reach the Gallery.
How to go to national gallery by taxi or private hire
Using Taxi: You can find a taxi stand at the Coleman Street entrance of the Gallery, accessible by turning right at the end of Supreme Court Lane.
The next nearest taxi stands are located at The Adelphi.
Traveling by Car: The primary drop-off area for cars and taxis is situated at the Coleman Street Entrance. The closest alternative drop-off point is at The Adelphi.
National Gallery Parking
For vehicles heading to the Gallery carpark, please take Parliament Place to St. Andrew’s Rd for access.
Connaught Drive and Fullerton Road/Anderson Bridge are closed to traffic, so visitors cannot use these routes to reach the carpark.
Parking Rates:
- From 7am to 6pm: $1.40 per half hour
- From 6pm to 1am: $3.30 per entry
- Motorbike parking: $1 per entry, no overnight parking

- Insider: 2-hour free parking
To redeem the free parking voucher:
- Visit ‘My Rewards’ in the member’s portal to obtain the e-voucher.
- Present the parking voucher at the Donors & Members counter on your visit day.
- Show a same-day admission pass or a single receipt with a minimum spending of $10 to redeem the parking voucher.

The Gallery has two main entrances: the Coleman Street entrance and the Padang Atrium entrance, facing the Padang.

- Buses 63, 51, 80, 32, 851 stop opposite Peninsula Plaza. The Coleman Street entrance is a 5-minute walk away.
Padang Atrium Entrance:
- Buses 195 and 961 stop at Parliament Place. Walk around the corner to the front of the building to reach the Padang Atrium entrance.
- Buses 61, 124, 145, 166, 174, 197 stop opposite The Treasury Building on North Bridge Road. The Padang Atrium entrance is approximately a 7-minute walk away.
- Buses 75, 100, 107, 130, 131, 167 stop in front of Victoria Concert Hall. The Gallery is approximately a 5-minute walk away.

Opening Hours:
- The Gallery exhibition spaces, Keppel Centre for Art Education, and Gallery & Co are open every day from 10 am to 7 pm. Just remember, you need to get in before 6:30 pm.
- The Padang Atrium entrance and public spaces, as well as the rooftop dining area, are open from 10 am to 1 am.
- If you’re using the Coleman Street entrance, it’s open from 9 am to 1 am.
- The basement car park is open from 7 am to 1 am.
- On public holidays and the day before public holidays, the Gallery follows regular hours.
