How to go to bird paradise by Mandai shuttle bus

You can easily get to Mandai Wildlife Reserve in just 15 minutes with a shuttle service that runs daily from Khatib MRT Station (NS14) to the wildlife parks. This service has two drop-off points for visitors’ convenience.

  • Travel Time: 10-25 minutes
  • Closest Stop: Mandai Wildlife West
  • Operating Hours: 8:00 AM to 11:40 PM

How to go to bird paradise by MRT or bus

If you’re planning to use the MRT for transportation, you can alight at one of the following MRT stations and take a connecting bus directly to Mandai Wildlife Reserve. The available MRT stations include Khatib (NS14), Choa Chu Kang (NS4), Ang Mo Kio (NS16), and Springleaf (TE4).

The connecting buses to the reserve are the Mandai Shuttle for Khatib station, bus 927 for Choa Chu Kang station, and Bus 138 for Ang Mo Kio and Springleaf stations.

How to go to bird paradise by taxi or private hire

If you need a ride to or from Mandai Wildlife Reserve, you have two options:

  1. Taxi Service:
    • You can hire a taxi from the designated Pick-up/Drop off Point at the multi-story car park.
    • The fares are calculated using a meter to ensure fair charges for your journey.
    • Please note, there’s a $3 extra charge for taxis leaving Mandai Wildlife Reserve between 4 PM and 11:59 PM, starting from August 1st, 2022. This extra charge helps ensure more taxis are available during busy times.
  2. Private Hire Car Service:
    • Another option is booking a private hire car from services like Grab, Gojek, TADA, or Ryde.
    • Simply use their mobile apps to book a ride to or from Mandai Wildlife Reserve.
    • Once booked, head to the designated Pick-up/Drop off Point at the multi-story car park in the reserve.

Both options provide convenient transportation to and from Mandai Wildlife Reserve.

Getting to Mandai Wildlife Reserve by Car:

  • Mandai Wildlife Reserve is about a 30-minute drive from the city.
  • There are two routes you can take: one via the Central Expressway (CTE) and another via the Pan Island Expressway (PIE).
  • If you choose the CTE route, go towards the Seletar Expressway (SLE), then onto Mandai Road, and finally onto Mandai Lake Road.
  • For the PIE route, head towards Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE), then Woodlands, and onto Mandai Road, followed by Mandai Lake Road.

Parking Facilities:

  • There’s parking available at the reserve near the park entrance.
  • For cars and goods/service vehicles, it’s S$3 for the first hour (with a 20-minute grace period) and S$2 for every additional hour.
  • If you don’t have an IU or cash card, the entry charge is S$10, with a maximum parking charge of S$10.
  • For passenger vans and buses, it’s S$10 per half hour (with a 20-minute grace period), with a maximum charge of S$30 per entry.

Location of Parking Lots:

  • Multi-Storey Car Park: A 12-minute walk from the reserve.
  • Car Park 1 (Mandai Wildlife West): A 6-minute walk from the reserve.

When preparing for your visit to Bird Paradise, keep in mind that the park is open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the last entry at 5:00 PM.
